PRIME-90

The Prime-90 was designed to deliver the most authentic P90 tone possible in a humbucker format, with no compromises. Built as a direct replacement for standard humbuckers, it allows players to experience true soapbar character without routing their guitars.

The Prime-90 set features Alnico V magnets and 42 AWG Polysol wire, producing a fat, rich tone with solid bottom end, clear highs, and a strong, open midrange. The custom-made bobbins used at Demiurge Guitars avoid the need for thinner wire or reduced turn counts, enabling the use of traditional P90 specifications and resulting in a genuine P90 voice that retains the wide frequency response and dynamic feel of the original design. 

The pickup delivers plenty of power and headroom for superb dynamic control, driving an amp naturally while maintaining clarity and definition across clean and overdriven tones. The neck pickup is calibrated to balance with the bridge's output, ensuring complete tonal harmony across positions. This design covers everything from vintage blues to high-gain rock, making it an ideal choice for players seeking authentic P90 bite in a humbucker-equipped guitar.

The Demiurge HSP90 series features custom-made bobbins, specifically designed to increase vertical winding space and compensate for the limited horizontal width of humbucker-sized P90s. This design allows the use of any wire gauge while maintaining the high turn count typical of P90 pickups, delivering the most faithful P90 tone possible in a humbucker format. 

The series is available with nickel silver covers in different finishes. Extended range models (7/8 strings) and multiscale configurations are available exclusively with black plastic covers. 

All models feature 50mm pole spacing.
