The CV60 set was designed to capture the essence of mid-’60s Strat tones, with a focus on clarity, punch, and a lively, dynamic response. Rooted in a classic vintage formula, it delivers a familiar voice with a strong sense of articulation, ideal for players looking for authentic Strat character with a responsive feel.

The CV60 set is bright and punchy, with a solid and controlled low end, slightly hollow mids, and a clear, singing top end with a pronounced snap. The attack is immediate and percussive, giving notes a defined edge while maintaining a natural musicality. Alnico V magnets contribute to a tighter low end and a more focused, articulate response, enhancing both clarity and projection. The 42 AWG Heavy Formvar wire adds body and definition, preserving note separation, especially in dynamic playing and edge-of-breakup tones.

The bridge pickup is slightly overwound compared to the neck and middle, improving balance across positions with a touch more output and added low-mid presence, while preserving the overall open and articulate character of the set.

The magnets are hand-beveled and feature flat pole pieces for a consistent, even response across the fretboard. Staggered pole pieces are available on request.

The middle pickup is RWRP, providing hum-canceling in positions 2 and 4 when combined with the neck or bridge pickups.
