Crafted for balance and nuance, the Polygon offers a modern voice with rich harmonic depth and wide musical range. Built around Alnico V magnets and asymmetrical windings, it delivers a detailed, mid-forward tone that stays expressive across all gain levels.
The bridge pickup is assertive and focused, with enhanced mids that add body and definition without sounding boxy or harsh. Its low end is tight enough to avoid muddiness but still present and weighty, while the highs remain smooth and musical. A touch of compression keeps things controlled under gain, yet the dynamic range stays alive — ideal for complex rhythms and expressive leads.
The neck pickup responds with fluid articulation and warmth, especially under distortion. Its voice is open and balanced, maintaining clarity and detail for clean passages, while offering a liquid, singing quality for driven tones.
Wooden spacers are used to subtly reduce the Alnico V magnetic pull and soften the feel, contributing to a more organic response. The use of multiple wire gauges and an asymmetrical winding scheme adds harmonic complexity and a more three-dimensional sound — qualities that also make the Polygon set exceptionally effective in split-coil or parallel configurations, retaining clarity and presence even outside of full humbucking mode.
