The Outpost set draws inspiration from early ’50s Telecaster tones, aiming for a more raw, organic feel with a strong emphasis on natural response. It delivers classic Tele clarity with a touch of added grit and midrange punch, ideal for pushing a valve amp right to the edge of breakup.

The bridge pickup is bright and direct, with fuller low mids, and a top end that stays sweet and controlled. It excels at cutting through for solos and delivers a strong, defined country-style twang, while easily moving into driven tones with a touch of overdrive. In the middle position, the set reveals a well-balanced blend of clarity and warmth, offering a versatile and musical in-between voice. The neck pickup brings a deeper, more mellow character, with a slightly darker and fuller tone that contrasts naturally with the bridge. Alnico II magnets contribute to a smoother transient response and added warmth, while the Polysol wire promotes a tighter, more focused response with enhanced midrange presence, keeping the overall voice defined and controlled.

The set features flat pole pieces for a consistent and even response across the strings. The neck pickup comes with a nickel silver cover, available in different finishes, that preserves high-end clarity while maintaining a balanced tonal character.
