The bridge pickup delivers the full-throated punch and midrange presence of a hot humbucker, while remaining more open and dynamic. The oversized Alnico V magnet adds clarity and depth, making it equally at home with big crunchy chords or tight, articulate rhythm work.
In contrast, the neck pickup brings a brighter, more scooped tone — clear and expressive, with just enough warmth to keep it musical and full. Its reactiveness and wide dynamic range make it ideal for glassy cleans and expressive overdriven lines.
The two pickups feature distinct designs — different winding patterns, magnet dimensions, and wire choices — each voiced for its role.
